BLOGGERS UNION GIVES 1ST SEPT DEADLINE FOR FULL COMPLIANCE ON PLAGIARISM

The Guild of Professional Bloggers of Nigeria has given September 1st 2016 as the deadline for all bloggers in Nigeria to stop the practise of plagiarism .This is contained in a statement pushed out by the union after its general meeting held in Lagos.The meeting presided over by its Acting National President, Mr. Chris Kehinde Nwandu advocates that bloggers should be seen to live above board in their practices.

Lagos To Partner Guild of Professional Bloggers



The Lagos State Government has restated its commitment to continue to have working relationship with professional social media bloggers in order to enhance prompt news dissemination in the State.The Commissioner, Ministry of Information and Strategy, Mr. Steve Ayorinde disclosed this on Thursday during a courtesy visit to his Office at the Secretariat, Alausa, Ikeja, by the Guild of Professional Bloggers in Nigeria, saying the partnership will not only enhance information dissemination to target audience but also improve beneficial business collaboration between the government and the organisation.

Online media practitioners and bloggers have been asked to adhere to strict best practice and professionalism in the discharge of their duties.This assertion was made yesterday by Lagos State Commissioner for Information and Strategy, Mr Steve Ayorinde during a courtesy visit to his office by The Guild of Professional Bloggers of Nigeria led by its Ag. President, Mr. Chris Kehinde Nwandu (CKN) in Alausa.
